I PURCHASED 2 QUEEN SIZE MATTRESSES FROM CLEO'S FURNITURE OVER A YEAR AGO. THE MATRESSES ARE HORRIBLE, THEY ARE LUMPY AND THEY NOW MAKE ME ITCH. I EXPLAINED THIS TO THEIR REPRESENTATIVE OF THE PROBLEMS I HAVING WITH THE MATTESSES AND WANTED TO RETURN BOTH QUEEN MATRESSES. THEIR ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER REQUESTED I TAKE THE 2 SETS OF MATTRESSES TO THEIR WAREHOUSE LOCATED ON 65TH STREET IN LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. I EXPLAINED TO HER THEY DELIVERED THE FURNITURE TO MY RESIDENCE AND I WOULD NOT BE TAKING ANY PRODUCT TO THEIR WAREHOUSE AND THAT THIS IS SOMETHING THAT THEY SHOULD DO. THIS INFURIATED ME. THEY STATED THEY DON'T HAVE IT IN THEIR BUDGET TO PAY SOMEONE TO COME TO MY HOME AND INSPECT THE MATTRESSES. HOWEVER, ON THIER WEBSITE THEY SAY ADVERTISE THAT THEY OFFER FREE DELIVERY....GO FIGURE

I DID FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB AND CLEO'S RESPONSE WAS THAT IF I DID HAVE BED BUGS IS WAS DUE TO MY HOME NOT BEING CLEANED. i'M A VERY CLEAN WOMAN........ THOSE WORDS LACK PROFESSIONALISM AND i FELT VERY DISRESPECTED. SO FOR THE SUPER UNTELLIGENT HERE'S A LITTLE EXPLANATION OF BED BEGS AND HOW THEY TRAVEL.

They first get into your home either by unhatched eggs being in some luggage, furniture, bedding or other item brought into your home or in rare cases by live bedbugs crawling into your home from somebody else's home because they detect the breath of somebody asleep in your home from where they were. The commonest ways are from somebody buying second hand furniture from somebody whose home had a bedbug infestation in it and where a female bedbug laid its eggs in hidden part of that furniture, or else when you return from holiday having stayed somewhere like a hotel which had a bedbug infestation, and where perhaps one or more female bedbugs laid eggs in your luggage which you bring home with you without knowing. Once the eggs first hatch in your home the newly born nymph will detect your breath while you are asleep. .

NOW I MOVED INTO A VERY CLEAN APARTMENT AND MY PARENTS RESIDENCE IS CLEAN AS WELL. ALSO ALL FURNITURE IN MY APARTMENT WAS PURCHASED FROM CLEO'S. I HAVE NO USED FURNITURE IN MY HOME AND NOR DO MY PARENTS. SO MY QUESTION IS DID CLEO'S REFURBISH FURNITURE THAT I SELECTED FROM THEIR LOCATION ON MARKHAM? HOWEVER, THEY ARE JUST THEIVES IN MY BOOK. IF I HAD KNOWN THAT I WOULD RECEIVE THIS TYPE OF DISRESPECT, I WOULD HAVE NEVER PURCHASED ONE THING FROM THEM.....ANYONE ELSE JUST BEWARE THEY TELL YOU HOW THEY APPRECIATE YOU BUT TREAT YOU LIKE A CHEAP DATE WHEN IT COMES TO THEM MEETING THE OBLIGATION TO ANY WARRANTY.....

IT IS SO UPSETTING THAT CLEO'S NOR SLEEPTRONIC WILL REPLACE MY MATTRESSES AND THAT THEY ARE IGNORANT TO HOW BED BEGS TRAVEL...H

Monetary Loss: $1200.

I also bought a mattress set and after 5 months went by the box spring mattress started making noise every time you lay on them so I took them back and they said because it had a mark on one they couldn't do anything about it when in fact it came like that and I looked over it so now I'm out of 1100 dollars never again will I do business with them

Go to 7 on your side, you will get your money back. Or you can go online and pull up consumer complaints and file that form.

Liars!!!!! I bought a couch from them and the board broke in the back after 8 moths...I had to take it back myself...they patched it up and gave it back to me....I had to pick it up....I purchased from them because I like what I saw but that furniture is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I guess the next time I will buy from Haverty's...like the old saying goes..."You get what you pay for"!!!! Got to be more careful!!!!!

Wow... chozin I bought living room suit and the board has broken after 6 months they said they would send repair manual out still haven't seen him yet

Cleo's furniture has no free delivery lying bastards, they have a couple of moving companies they refer to deliver to you and guess what, you have to pay them!!! They should be shut down espically that store in Sherwood a d Crime Bluff!!! :(

I know of other people having bed bug problems..and they sell cheap furniture its made for people who like to buy furniture every 2 or 3 years its cheep cheep cheep I'll never do business with them and would and will direct anyone I know away from them

we love cleos so much....they have the bestest deals & love,love,love....debra...she guided us thru our purchase and made it painless...she also has a design service and came over to our house...making sure that we did not make any expensive furniture mistakes...happy customer :) :) :)

The key phrase in this womans complaint..." I bought mattresses over a year ago", "now they make me itch". If it took over a year for them to make her itch, then no bed bugs came from Cleos furniture, duh!

If there had been bugs in them from the beginning, then they would have made her itch long before "over a year" later!! Also, all companies have different policies on returns or repairs. Very few cover anything after a year!! Oh and by the way, the website says Cleos offers Free delivery?

She said she was asked to bring the mattresses to the warehouse and she refused because they offer free delivery....Returning items for repair is not delivery, that is return and that would be the customers responsibility. If you buy something from Wal-Mart (even large things) and need to return it for some reason, they don't come to your house and pick it up for you, you take it back to the store yourself!! Sounds to me like this lady was offered repair and refused it and she is trying to blame someone else for her bedbugs over a year after purchase.... always somebody wanting something for nothing!

Not Cleo's fault! Just saying!!

I will never waste a penny on anything they sale at Cleo's anymore. They are right up there with Crain Mazda in my book.

If it wasn't against my religion I could give some choice words about them.

The only difference in Cleo's and Crain is they did replace my damage furniture and Crain lied and stuck to their lie about that sorry tail tribute I bought from them. Don't get me started they both two sorry business and people should avoid them and take there business elsewhere.
